Join us for String Fling, 2021! Come play string chamber music coached by premiere string educators and performers. Registration includes 5 hours of professional coaching in small chamber music groups (4-5 registrants per group) spread out over 5 weeks.

String Fling features small chamber music groups for string players grade 3 (end of Suzuki book 3) level literature and above. Students need to be able to comfortably read music and shift on their instruments.

We have 8 world renowned faculty that will play and/or coach with small groups in socially distance format with masks required, for one hour for 5 weeks total, culminating in a performance streamed online.

Temperature checks will be taken at doors and health checks will be collected through free team snap app.

All events will take place at West Valley High School in Fairbanks, AK.

15 minutes between each session will allow for clean up to keep us safe from COVID-19.

Coaching’s will be one hour Saturdays between 9am-12:30pm

9-10am

10:15-11:15am

11:30am-12:30pm

You will be assigned a time based on the group you are placed in!

Sign up by March 25th at 11:59pm

Start date is Saturday March 27 and will be one hour every Saturday between 9am-12:30pm until performance evening of April 24.

Dates are March 27, April 3, April 10, April 17, and April 24.

$180 per student.

TeamSnap Health check app and temperature checks at door. Social distancing and masks required. Chamber Coaching is one hour in the morning each Saturday.
